the Cost of Cable TV Installation

I had basic cable installed in an apartment that was cable ready. The discounted rate was $59.95. The normal cost was $89.95 but because I ordered bundled services and was a new customer I got the discounted rate.

The service man was very punctual, which is important to me as I had to take a few hours off of work to be there for him to install the cable. I had a 3 hour window of the time he'd show up but an hour before the earliest time I got a call that narrowed the window down to one hour. The service man, however, was a little rude. He was kind of pushy and upset that I didn't know where the cable jack was. When I made the appointment they told me to pull everything away from the wall but they didn't tell me that I would need two open electrical outlets. I live in an older building that isn't wired very well and it took me quite a bit of time to find things to plug to enable the technician to use two outlets. He was very irritated by it and I thought it was rather rude of him as I hadn't been told I would need them.

When you make the appointment ask about electrical outlets and if there is anything else you will need to have free for the technician.
