Description of service
I was going to attend the Fiesta Bowl and wanted to enjoy the whole experience. I arranged weeks in advance for the convertible and picked it up at the airport. The total cost of $468 included fuel, airport rental tax, other taxes and the rental. I did not need their insurance since my own insurance was sufficient.
Review of Service
The vehicle was outstanding in every respect. It was clean and the fuel tank was full when I received it. It had an automatic top, GPS, leather seats plus numerous other features, including a great sound system.
The rental personnel were very friendly and gave me advice on how to avoid some of the traffic and where to see some unusual sights in the area in addition to the usual tourist places.
I had no complaints about the service although I felt the vehicle got exceptionally poor mileage under normal driving conditions. But it was well worth the extra costs to have a convertible in that atmosphere.
Tips
When renting a car for a special event, plan ahead and make an early reservation. Early reservations are more important for events that draw a large number of out-of-towners. Use discounts such as corporate rates when available. Carry your insurance cards with you. In most instances, you do not need to purchase their insurance coverage. Inspect the vehicle before driving it.
