Description of service
My daughter was getting married in Chicago and we went with her to view the wedding invitations. After looking at dozens of samples, she selected an invitation, return card and the envelopes. She also selected the fonts to be used on the material. The cost of the order was $2,200, for all materials and printing.
Review of Service
The service was only fair, at best. They were not ready when promised, although my daughter had called on several occasions to convirm the delivery date. When the order was ready, the return cards had an error in the address. They were able to rush another order and she recived them three days later. The invitations and cards were very well done and the paper and printing were just what she had ordered. I think that the shop should have reviewed the finished order prior to contacting my daughter. The price was average for the size of the order and the quality of the paper.
Tips
When ordering any printing, especially for a wedding, check references. The lowest cost may end up being the most expensive. Be sure to review every word and design prior to signing the order sheet. Do not pay in full when placing the order. One-third down payment at time of the order is fair. Carefully read and have another person with you doing the same thing before accepting the final product. Don't forget to buy stamps.
