Description of service
I had a deviated Septum as result of the direct blow to my nose causing fracture. I t was also causing problem in breathing so i decided to go for the surgery. Also with the bump on my nose i was looking like a cartoon character. My surgeon was confident in assuring me he could improve the functional problems so i also cooperated and decided to go for it as soon as possible. The surgery was worth $6500 including the medicines and after care and hospital room charges.
Review of Service
Surgery went well and I cruised through the first week of resting. I got the cast removed after ten days of surgery and still the nose has some swelling which went off slowly and steadily in 2 weeks. With time I was becoming extremely pleased with my new nose, the shape changed completely and it looked much better than earlier. The money factor is justified and nothing compares to the happiness and good comments i got after the surgery, i am satisfied and would advice it to anyone who needs it.
Tips
Avoid any surgeon who downplays the difficulty of having a nose job. This is a difficult procedure and comes with its own list of possible complications. So prefer a trusted and tested doctor. Sleep in a recliner or with your head elevated on pillows for the first several days to minimize swelling.Frequently applying ice can also help.
