Description of service
I have been wanting a nose job since I was in high school. My nose had been broken twice and it just didn't look the same that it did before being broke. So I saved up some money and decided to get it done for my 20th birthday. My mom had already had a facelift done so she helped me through the process of choosing a doctor. We finally settled on one that had a good reputation in our area and I went in for the procedure.
Review of Service
I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. It was much less painful that I had anticipated. You don't get to see immediate results though because it takes about 2-3 weeks for the bruises to fade away and then about 2-3 months for the swelling to go down completely. I didn't get to see what my final nose would look like until about 6 months after I had the surgery. So if you have it done you may be in shock for a while and think "What have I done" but it's probably NOT what your nose will look like in the end. But in my opinion it was well worth it in the end.
Tips
Go in for a free consultation (most plastic surgeons offer this). While you are there ask to see some photos of that doctor's previous work. That will give you a feel of what type of work he can and can't do. And lastly, if you do decide to follow through with the surgery follow the doctor's orders about post surgery care very carefully. And please make sure you're doctor is board certified. Cheaper isn't always better.
