the Price of Interior Design

The service was the hiring of an interior decorator for an "interior re-design" plan. The $1,000 included the drawing up of the new design and plan for it, but none of the actual items (ie: blinds, carpet, cabinets, etc.) that were necessary for the re-modeling in the plan. It was basically a drawing and design plan similar to what you would see from an artchitecht, but for the decoration and inside of the home instead of the structure and outside.

We were very pleased with the professionalism and level of curtosey from our designer. Even though she surely had bigger clients and more high-priced jobs to do, she still treated us as customers and gave us a great deal of respect and all of her time that we needed. Although the whole home re-decorating project ended up costing us much more than we had been anticipating, we were overwhelmingly appreciative of the results, and we truly have a whole brand-new looking home!

My tip would be to ask around for a designer that is trusted and comes highly recommended. Curtosey and attitude means a lot in this field, so make sure you get somebody with both!
