Description of service
I took my dog to the pet store to be groomed. She was bathed thoroughly and blow dried. Then, they brushed her fur out before giving her a trim. Her nails were trimmed as well. They then expressed her anal glands. A bath by it's self is 17 dollars with brushing. I estimate the other services to be 20 with out tax.
Review of Service
When I got my dog back, her fur looked great on one side but was a bit lopsided on the other. I don't believe they clipped her nails correctly, either. Her fur did look fabulous in texture, though -- she also smelled a bit fruity. The people also had a way with dogs, and my pooch didn't seem too upset to have been away. I don't know if nearly fifty dollars for a less than perfect haircut for my dog was worth it.
Tips
My advice is that when ever you receive services, you should always check the quality of them and complain if you aren't impressed. If you don't think you got your money's worth, speak to someone who fixed it. I wish I would've known better. I do have a suggestion -- bring a picture of what you want your dog's haircut to look like and show them. Perhaps then you will both be on the same page.
