Description of service
The service was a standard shampoo and cut. It was for our standard poodle, Coby, at the local chain pet store in town. The service included a full cut and he can get pretty hairy at times. He needs one about every 6 or 7 weeks, so it was a routine and regular visit for us.
Review of Service
Our dog is never happy when he has to get groomed, so it never really is a pleasant experience to see him so upset. However, it wasn't that bad considering everything. They were professional and polite, and cheaper than localing places we have checked out that do just grooming. So overall, we couldn't really complain about much. We also have tried doing it ourselves and it never works out very well. I would probably give them an 8 out of 10 if I had to rank them.
Tips
My best tip would be to shop around. We found that the chain pet store by us had much better rates than speciality places or vets that do grooming services. The quality wasn't any different, either. So, although we came in with some initial hesitation and doubt we left pretty happy. Give the chain pet store the chance, they might surprise you!
