the Cost of Cable Internet Service Providers

We get high speed cable internet access for $62.95. Customer service is good for when you get stuck on something or when the internet page will not load. But the price is just outrageous. When we first signed up it was only $45. That price was with cable television bundled with the internet service. Then when the promotional rate ended it was $52. We recently switched to satellite tv so we canceled our cable tv and our internet rate went up to $62.95. i could not believe it. The only reason we stick with them is because my husband is an avid online gamer and they have the fastest internet in our area. If we were to switch it would affect the speed of his gaming. That is the only perk of the service.

I think the service is good because we have excellent, fast internet, but the price is just ridiculous. There are many companies out there that have it for lower prices. The only thing that makes it so high is the speed. As soon as the speed of other companies is increased it will take a lot of business away. The other companies will more than likely be cheaper. You really do not need that high of speed unless you are an online gamer.

Before buying definitely evaluate what you will be using the internet for. If it is general use. go with the average speed cheaper companies. If your gaming is important than you have to pay a lot.
