Description of service
High speed internet, supposed to be about 400k but is more like 30-70k for downloads. Outages almost every Sunday. It is a very flaky internet service. But I like how I can be on the internet without using up the phone. Very bad customer service with the company that I go through.
Review of Service
This internet company has very bad customer service. They are only in the office two days a week and if they come out to your house for a service call, they will more than likely charge for it. They have outages every Sunday and the service is flaky on the other days of the week. The internet company tried telling my husband that is our equipment (router, etc.) that was making the internet run really bad but my husband buys all of the top of the line equipment.
Tips
Ask around for the neighborhood about which internet company is the most reliable. I did not have that choice as my internet company is fairly new (around two years). Call for installation ahead of time so that you can be able to get it installed when you need it. Ask your neighbors if they have used such and such a company and what their experiences were or are. Most people are very willing to relate their experiences with a specific company whether they like them or they do not. I wish that I had the opportunity to be able to know ahead of time about what kind of company that I was going to deal with.
