Description of service
I got a hair weave from a place that provides all types of hair and skin care, from cuts, perms, styles, and weaves, to nail care and day spa including massage, aesthetics, and other beauty regimens.
Review of Service
I had cut off my hair because of a bad color experience that left my hair fried and dead and falling out in places, and did not like my new short 'do. My hair is extremely thick, and wavy in the back and straight on top and in the front, so maintaining and styling my short hair was a nightmare that I didn't want to deal with anymore. I decided to use my income tax returns to have hair extensions put it. They cost a fortune, but I loved the look and feel of my new longer hair. It took about eight hours for the weave to be properly placed in my hair, but once finished, the results were beautiful and long-lasting. I was able to grow out my horrible haircut to a manageable length that was easier to style and more appealing on me.
Tips
Schedule your weave for a day that you don't have anything else going on. Chances are, it will take at least four hours (longer, if you have thicker hair), and you will have a raging headache when you are finished from all the pulling and tugging on your hair. Go do a reputable salon, or somebody who specializes in hair weaves because otherwise you may end up with a phony-looking hairstyle that will not last. It is also important to take excellent care of your extensions, as they cannot be washed daily otherwise they will lose their luster and elasticity, and the longevity will severely be compromised.
