the Price of a Hair Weave

A sew-in weave is what I went in for. I really liked that my hair stylist was attentive and gave advice on how to care for my weave. I also like that relative to other hair stylists, she was relatively cheap yet paid great attention to detail and went to great lengths to condition and protect my hair. I paid $75 towards the actual styling of my hair and $25 towards the hair weave, which she provided some of. The remaining $20 was her tip.

I was very happy with the way she prepped my hair before actually putting the weave in. This showed that she had skill, experience, and concern for my hair. That was comforting to know. The only thing that I didn't like was that the weave was really tight in some places. Even so, when I expressed this to her, she went to great lengths to redo problem sections. She also was a pro at styling. With almost no effort she style my weave to perfection. I totally got my bang for my buck considering I got full service and I think it would be totally possible to spend twice as much if I wasn't careful.

I would definitely suggest seeking out multiple ways of moisturizing the hair while the weave is in. I wish that I would have known to pick out the type of hair that I like best in advance.
