Description of service
This included the cost of the food (two seperate Mexican entrees - Cheese Enchiladas and Beef Fajitas, 4 different side dishes - Beans (two types), Rice, and Side Salad; 2 deserts- Flan and Strawberry shortcake; drinks and finally tortillas and fixings). The cost was approximately $10 per person (kids and adults were the same price).
Review of Service
The service was ok, the food was really good. The caterers really didn't plan on providing all of the plates and originally they "forgot" plates to serve the dessert on so they had to wash dishes in between serving the main meal and then the dessert. The staff really did try hard to make it right, but the manager who had originally sat down to negotiate the meal didn't pass any real information along to the staff who would be working on the wedding reception at the remote location. Everyone had to scramble to make things right, which they did - so it worked out in the end. It seemed like the caterers were improperly prepared before the actual reception, and it sure showed during the reception.
Tips
You may have to micro manage your reception to get it to come out the wsay that you really want it. Don't be afraid to address something if it looks like it might be wrong.
