Description of service
I have an account at one of the largest movie rental companies. They also rent video games for the newer gaming platforms.
Review of Service
I have had an account at one of the large national video rental companies. I have used the video rental service for years but also found myself interested in renting video games. As a gift I received a Playstation3 for Christmas from my girlfriend. Since the cost of new games are pretty high I decided to try them out first by renting them for a couple of days from the retailer. Its the same a DVD renting. Just go pick out your game and that's it. The return policy is pretty much the same. With games they gave you 2 days before any past due charges would be charged. Now 2 days might not seem like enough time but I found out that if I didn't like the game play I knew it right away. So two days was enough time, at least for me, to determine if I wanted to go out and purchase the game outright. So a pretty good option and fairly easy choice to see if that's the game for you.
Tips
Be sure you don't rack up any excessive overdue charges. I could see how some might really like the game and want to keep it for a while. If you rent it several times and keep it for several days you could have purchased a new copy yourself with the late fees that your paying.
