the Price of Game Rentals

I rented my son a video game while we were on vacation. It cost $4 and he could keep it for one day. There was a $6 late charge for each day it wasn't returned.

I'm honestly not convinced that we weren't overcharged for this service. We were obviously from out of town (we had out of town ID's) so I don't know if someone took advantage of that fact or what. I didn't see any prices listed but $4 for one day and $6 if it was late just seemed really high to me.

When we got the game back to our relatives house that we were staying in, my son tried playing the game but it didn't work for well. It was pretty scratched up and while he could play or awhile once he reached this particular part in the game it would start freezing up.

When we returned it the next day I told the person who was working (same guy as the night before) and he said he'd run it through their DVD/game repair thing. But he didn't offer to refund our money.

Always check the game disc before you leave so that if it's excessively scratched you can either have them fix it or you can choose another game.
