Description of service
It's an introductory-level dance class for a one hour a week for one semester at dance room at the local community college.
As usual with the community college, they offer a bunch of classes. As far as dance classes go, they offer jazz, ballroom, ballet, west- and east-coast swing, tango, samba, and a few others I don't recall at the moment. All were 1 credit hour classes (like mine was) and so cost $45 as classes are priced by the credit hour.
Review of Service
Not bad. Better mix of guys and girls than the ballroom class I took earlier in the year, maybe 60/40 women to men. Two instructors, male and female. Each class we learned a move or two and spent some time integrating it into what we already learned. We changed partners frequently and both instructors worked themselves into the rotation. It was a fun class.
Tips
If you take a dance class to actually learn to dance (as opposed to just meet people), get together with some of the other students at a dance studio or dance club that features music suitable for the dances you're using (the teachers can recommend a place if you don't know any) and practice.
