the Price of Swing Dance Lessons

My wife and I took a single night dance lesson at a local club that did swing dance nights, which was $20.00 for both of us. They spent about an hour showing us basic steps and had us trade partners so we could dance with more experienced dancers. They also offered a series of dance classes over the course of several nights which we were curious about but ended up not opting for.

The cost of the lesson also included admission to the club, and was only a few dollars more than general admission. It was a fun evening out, and I definitely felt like I learned a few moves, although I felt like I just know the basics. After the lessons ended, they had a general dance with a live band. We danced for a bit, and after we tired ourselves out, it was entertaining just to watch all the dancers in their vintage-looking outfits who could do the very advanced moves.

This is a fun night out and a cheap date. There are also dance lessons in the park on weekends in San Francisco, but this was out at a club and you got the advantage of a live band and seeing everyone all dressed up, so well worth what we paid.
