Description of service
My wife needed to go to the emergency room for a pain she was having all over her body, and sharp pains in her lower back and in her head. She had been trying to just get over it for about a week when she finally just collapsed from the pain and was taken to the emergency room. With my insurance, the overall cost of the emergency room visit was $100. That is a flat fee for an emergency room visit charged through my insruance company.
Review of Service
I love the hospital my wife went to. They are always nice and kind. My family and I have had several procedures done at this hospital and they are always helpful. Because of what was wrong, she had a really bad kidney infection, she had to stay overnight, but was released the next morning after some medicene and much needed rest. The nurse even called the next day to check up on my wife to make sure how she was doing.
Tips
You can't really shop around for emergency room care, some cities only have one hospital, but where I live there are two and there is NO WAY I would goto the other hospital. I guess my only tip would be trial and error. If you don't like a certain emergency room, wait till next time and go to the different hospital to see which one you like better.
