Description of service
I am currently on several doctor prescribed pain medications. One of which I get free because I can not afford to buy it. Getting this medication free requires a lot of paper work and sending it to the manufacturer and then to the doctor and finally to me.
No one will admit it but my "free" pain medication was a week late getting to me. I did not know this drug would cause withdrawals but it did. After two days of being really sick and feeling like I was dying I decided to go to the emergency room. There was no other choice at 11pm. Once checked in and waiting an hour on my doctor she came and gave me the drugs I had run out of. All was well within a few hours.
Review of Service
Service was great at this hospital. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to a nearly dead man. I got a wheelchair to sit in and a cup of water to take my pills with. As nice as the experience was I think $1083.00 was a little steep! I of course can't pay it. We as a family give the hospital a $100.00 every month weather we owe or not...what else can we do??
Tips
Only tips I can give on this problem is don't get hurt where you will need pain medication the rest of your life. Or at least get and keep some sort of health care plan.
