Description of service
The $36 is the hourly rate charged by the local landscaping service company that we use. This is an hourly rate for general garden and yard maintenance/mowing and upkeep. This includes but is not limited to trimming of shrubs, mowing of the yard, and weeding/mulching of the gardens. They are very flexible as far as hours we need to use them for are concerned, but in a typical summer week we probably contract them for about 3 or 4 hours total. Much less during other seasons.
Review of Service
We are very happy with our landscapers. Keeps our yard looking "A+" when we need it most for summer barbeques and outdoor parties. There is no way we can keep up with the gardens while working full-time. It can get rather pricey, but that is what you pay for a big yard and lots of gardens! If we can't afford it for a week, our company is very flexible with us, so that helps out as well! All in all, we are very pleased.
Tips
My tip would be to shop around and look for the best price, but not to use that as your only factor. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for, and this is especially true in the landscaping business.
