the Price of Regular Landscaping Service

This is the price per visit for lawnmowing services by a landscaping company. This covers mowing a 100 foot by 120 foot property on a weekly basis. The fee also includes trimming the weeds around the house, patio, fences, gardens, and pool. They use a power edger to edge around the property line by the street and along the driveway. They also use a leaf blower to clear away any trimmings and other debris that on the driveway, patio, and front and rear decks. This fee required me to agree to use this landscaper's services once per week for the entire season (April to October). Otherwise it would have been $35 per visit.

I don't mind doing the mowing myself, but the way these guys clean up the property with the edger, blower, and weed whacker is incredible. I could never make it look so good. It is a pleasure to come home and find all of the work done for me. On the other hand, I do not like it when they come while I am at home. There are usually three men here, and the noise generated by each one simultaneously running a gas-powered tool is annoying. Sometimes they come when I have company, and we have to remain in the house until the work is completed. The convenience of having the work done far outweighs the inconvenience, though.

Look around and see who your neighbors are using. If a landscaper has to come to a street once and can do several houses instead of just one, he is more likely to give you a good price.
