Description of service

I have always been very skeptical regarding the maintainance of my scooter. Very frequently, i get the oil changed so that the scooter's engine remains in good condition and it also gives good mileage. Last time i got the oil changed, i had to pay $25. I had taken my scooter to a new mechanic.

Review of Service

If i belive the mechanic, the oil that he used was of the best quality available. He also told me that that oil is cheapest one and the best, although it was hard to believe but still i had to go by his words. I think that he used a low quality oil as the engine started giving problems soon after and the mileage too dropped drastically.

Tips

Always go to a mechanic whom you trust. Other mechanics tend to lure you into buying low quality oil that gives them the maximum profit. Do check the oil that he is using. Ideally, the cost should not be more than $25. Also remember to keep a watch on the mechanic while he is changing the oil. Make sure that he does not mix the old oil with the new one and that he pours all the oil into your scooter.
