So I bought this scooter almost a year before I took it for it's first oil change.The oil was supposed to be changed at about 200miles but it was already up to 270 when I went in.The mechanic showed me a few different types of oil and I told him to use the best one;he chose 10w-40which only cost $4.00.I watched him drain the old oil from my engine then use a machine to clean away any sludge.When he was satisfied that it was clean ,he then poured the new bottle of oil into the engine.The other engine parts were also checked to make sure everything was in working order.Ten minutes later I was on my way.
Review of Service
The mechanic was very professional and did an awesome job on my scooter making sure that everything was good.Most mechanics just check the oil,but this guy checked everythimg and all for $11.00.My scooter was in my sight the whole time and i got to watch each step so now I can change the oil myself.
Tips
Make sure you take the scooter to a reputable mechanic as most will try to con you and make the oil change more complicated than it really is.
