There was some problem with the brakes. When brakes were applied, they made a lot of cheeky noise and also their effectiveness was reduced. So I took the car to a service station. The mechanic changed the brake oil and did some other related work. Was charged $20 for the oil and $10 cost of labor.

I was quite satisfied with the service that I received. The quality of the oil used was very good as later I got the brand verified from another service station. Also the mechanic was very efficient; I had already known the mechanic for more than two years. I believe that the cost was also not much and the whole work was done in less than half an hour. The braking system thereafter, became perfect.

When getting your car repaired, do have some idea about the services that you want; or else you might end up paying for a lot of services that your car didn?t actually require. Also tell the mechanic in advance to ask you before replacing any part; thus you can always keep a check on the mechanic. For minor repairs, prefer going to a local garage as it proves to be a much cheaper option.
