In the early spring, to get ready for time on the beach, I had my naturally curly hair straightened at a local salon in San Diego, California. It wasn't a nationally known salon, rather a local one that was locally owned. I spent about two hours in the salon and the total cost came up to $65.00.
Review of Service
My hair turned out great! My hair is naturally very curly, which I hate because it's hard to do anything with your hair when it's this curly. I really liked the people at the salon, too. They were very nice and remained professional the whole time. I don't like going into a salon that is just a rumor mill for local people, but this one was different (in a good way). I wasn't too happy with the price, but the results are stunning and it was well worth it. I would and have recommended friends to this salon for hair straightening.
Tips
I found this salon through a referral from a friend. Ask friends and/or family for good salons to make sure you don't end up with someone who really messes your hair up. You can also check the better business companies to check a certain companies reputation.
