Description of service
I got an oil change in my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250r this past summer due to puttering problems (I don't know what it was but it stopped after the oil change) in Ashland, Kentucky. The total cost, before taxes, was $39.99. This price included the oil and the labor. It would have been extra if I had to have my bike towed, but I got a friend to bring the bike to the shop in his truck.
Review of Service
The service was fine, everything was what I expected. I was having issues with what seemed like the bike puttering, but after the oil change I didn't have any other issues. The people at this particular shop only deal with motorcycles so I know my bike was in good hands. Plus, they are always very friendly with me, which makes the whole process a lot easier. I will return to this same shop if I ever need an oil change again (i'm sure I will eventually).
Tips
I like to go places i'm comfortable with. If the people are rude, I don't care how good or cheap they are, I won't go to their shop. You can use the yellow pages, or check online for a motorcycle repair shop near you. The repair shops usually do regular maintence (like oil changes) too.
