The cost of an oil change for my BMW motorcycle included just the change of oil and labour at the BMW dealership. They looked at other stuff to see if anything was wrong but that was all really. It also included towing if I needed it for free but I didn't need it. I drove it to the shop. The price included taxes as well.

The price was a bit steep. Usually for a car an oil change is only $20, but for the BMW it was so much more expensive, especiallif if I did it myself it would have only cost about $15. The people at the shop were very professional and friendly, but the cost was really expensive for something that only took about half and hour and seemed easy enough to do.

I think your first oil change you should have done then find out how to do it yourslef and go ahead and do it. It is very easy to do on a motorcycle. Also you can call places and get the price of an oil change before going it that way you can compare prices. Also buy a motorcycle with the prices that are not that costly for the parts. This is a main concern in repairing motorcycles and scooters as well. Buy something you can fix yourself and is easy to get to and the parts are readily available at auto part stores.
