Description of service
My brother and I went skydiving earlier this year at a sky diving school in Chesapeake, Ohio. They spent about six hours with us, training and showing us the safety aspects of diving. After their one day class we were ready to jump from about 1500 feet in the air. It was by far the most exciting thing i've ever done. The total cost of the class and the jump was $175 per person.
Review of Service
The service was great. We learned a lot during the class, and felt totally safe by the time it was over. The instructors were very nice and knew exactly what to say when I voiced my concerns. The airplane we jumped from was a small plane, nothing too big but it sat about seven people. One of my worries was how far I would fall before the parachute deployed, but it was only about five seconds before i was coasting slowly to the ground.
Tips
The biggest tip I can give is to not be scared. Thousands of people parachute every day, and there are hardly any accidents. Statistically, it is more dangerous to ride in a car than it is to jump from a plane. If you're looking to save some money, look up skydiving in your phone book and call around to different places to get the best deal.
