the Cost of Skydiving

The service I paid for was essentially an all day affair in which I arrived and was greeted by the team of skydiving instructors. We suited up and took a few practice dives out of the plane while we are firmly on land. We then watched videos of how previous skydivers were able to deploy their parachutes, and we had to simulate the same motions on our own apparel. We went up in the plane after the training course, and I jumped as part of a tandem where I had the instructor on my back as we fell mid air.

What a rush! I loved the service provided, because it made me feel comfortable with jumping out of a plane at thousands of feet in the air. The team of instructors were very professional and assured any worries I had, while also creating a fun atmosphere that added to the adrenaline rush I felt as I fell towards the ground. I do wish we could've jumped from a little higher above ground, but there were limits to tandem skydivers, so the mid-air flight time was considerably less than when you can go alone. Regardless, the free fall was a completely unique experience, and one that has me wanting more.

My tip would be to enjoy the service being provided. Sure, there are nerves and worries that come into play, but with proper training beforehand and the instructor being attached to you, there really is nothing to do but dive in head first to the experience and have fun with it.
