the Cost of Tongue Piercing

I went to a local tattoo shop to have a tongue piercing done. The piercer had a lot of experience. The total cost for the initial jewelry and the piercing was $100.

I paid a little bit more than a friend who'd had the same piercing done. When she got hers there was a lot of swelling and the piercing was a little bit off. She'd gone back to the place she got it done and they pretty much told her once she left the shop she was on her own. For this reason I decided to pay a little bit more and make sure I got it done right. I'm definitely glad I did because it was a very good experience. I told the piercer that I was really nervous and had never had a piercing like that done. She was very patient and took her time to explain to me everything that was being done. When I had some swelling I went back a few days later and they took a look at it and were happy to give me some solution to clean it with and did not act like it was asking too much from them.

Pay the extra money! It's just a piercing but if it goes wrong it can be a really bad experience. Make sure you feel comfortable with whomever is piercing you.
