the Cost of Tongue Piercing

well i got my tongue piercing done at a local tattoo / piercing shop over by the beach in june of 2007. it cost me $60 for the piercing to be done and $20 for the jewelry. They put a surgical steel 14 gauge ring in the piercing hole. i also purchased a special piercing care kit that was $15 so all together i paid $95 for my tongue piercing

i was very happy with the service they gave me. they werent too expensive and they were also very friendly and the wait was very short.. i couldnt believe how painless the piercing was. i had gotten my tongue pierced a long time ago at a cheap place that only charged me $20, and wow that was a bad idea! it got infected (prob because the cheap place wasnt sterile) so Im glad i went to the more expensive piercing place!

if you are going to get your tongue pierced, make sure they are licensed because you dont want to get an infection. it hurts a lot and also can cost a lot of money in dr visits to get the infection healed. usually the cheap places are not certified, so be careful!
