the Cost of New Computer Set Up

I paid a neighbor $100 to hook up my new computer. He not only set everything up as far as plugging it in and all but he did some installation of programs as well.

I got a new computer recently and had no idea how to hook the thing up. I happened to run into a neighbor who offered to do it for $100. I was a little nervous and said I'd think about it. I talked to some people at work who said that was a great price, assuming he did a good job. I was still nervous as there was no guarantee he wouldn't mess it up.

He did a great job though! It ended up taking about 3 hours so I felt the per hour price was really excellent. He got the mouse and all the software hooked up right. Then he went in and installed a few programs he said I'd need. He also uninstalled some more advanced features that I didn't need and were taking up space on the computer. I'd definitely use him again in the future.

Having a friend or neighbor do this kind of service can be risky but it can also save you a lot of money.
