Description of service
My friend decided I needed counseling. I have issues like other people but I decided to give it a try. I went to the counseling service and felt awkward but I told this doctor my problems. Luckily, she didn't put me on any medication she didn't feel I needed. So the following month I had moved to Dallas, TX but I couldn't get ahold of the counseling service because their phones were down. I called for 2 days straight and no one answered. If I didn't cancel the appointment I was going to be charged $250 (for an appointment as if I had this appointment with a counselor). Later in the mail I did get charged for this service. I called the receptionist and told her I couldn't get ahold of anyone. She informed the phones were working (I was calling the right number)!
So eventually they took the charge off my counseling bill but it was a bit unfair on my part to pay for something I never attended and yet I ATTEMPTED to call and cancel an appointment! I didn't even live in Houston at the time on top of that!
Review of Service
The receptionist were rude. I had to call 3-4 times over and over again to get through to anyone! Then she was VERY hestitant about taking the price off my bill for a service I NEVER HAD! Then this receptionist was blaming me for her down lines and saying that her lines WERE working. If the lines WERE working wouldn't I had canceled the service before hand??
Tips
I don't know if I have any tips per se on this one. I am not going to listen to my friends (exfriend now) and have her suggest me to go to counseling when it was unnecessary and she has her own problems to take care)
On top of that I was charged a full week's of pay for 30 mins. I don't think the receptionist should have blamed me for their downed lines to cover themselves from removing a pay that wasn't my fault.
