Description of service
I have my hair routinely high lighted at a local salon. I have been going there for about 6 years. I usually go every 6 to 8 weeks to keep the root growth under control. Depending on the season, the stylist will just touch up the highlights or when the seasons change she will lighten or darken my hair if we are going into summer or fall respectively. I am not crazy about really blonde, blonde high lights so after she does the summer highlights she will do a semi permanant rinse with a medium mocha color to make the high lights look more natural. When we start heading into fall, she will do a single darker permanant color and then build the high lights on top of the new base.
Review of Service
As long as I have my appointment with my stylist or a stylist that I am at least familiar, I have always had an excellent experience. Also they are very attentive so when you are stuck under the heat lamps while the high lights are developing they will always come by and offer coffee or water and new magazines.
Tips
My best tip is to develop a relationship with a stylist or group of stylists at a good salon that you can trust.
