the Cost of Car Door Repair

Price is for repair of driver's side door and door handle. Another car backed into the driver door leaving a small to medium size dent near the wheel and also damaged the door handle. Cost included popping out the dent, paint and minor repair to the door handle.

Service was average. The repair shop failed to communicate everything they would do and the procedure of what would take place. Consequently, I didn?t know what was going on half the time. They conducted the vehicle inspection before they started the work without telling, so I was not able to make sure they marked the present and previous damage correctly. Fortunately, they did not damage the car while it was in their care. Pick up went smoothly. No problems and the door was repaired to "like new" condition. Actual service was not worth the price. Would recommend shopping around for a place with a good price and good service as well.

Before they accept your car for service they will inspect your car for other damage and make a list. Be sure you are there and watch them inspect your car for other damage. Do not sign off on their list if it is not fully accurate. And do not sign the final statement if they damaged your car while they were repairing it. Damage they make to your car is fully their responsibility. Don't be afraid to ask questions--it is your car.
