Review of Service
The service was fantastic! I have a very nice professional mixer which stopped working. The motor seemed to grind and grunt, and the beater wouldn't spin at all. It was an extremely expensive mixer, so I was disappointed that after only two years of use, it had died on me. When I took it to the repair shop, I fully anticipated them telling me I would need to replace it, or for them to charge me a lot of money for the repair. I was pleasantly surprised when the problem was extremely minor, and the cost to repair the problem was minimal. The factory setting had somehow been jarred, so the stainless steel mixing bowl was sitting too high, not letting the beater spin. It just needed to be re-adjusted, and I haven't had a problem with it since then.
Tips
Re-adjusting the factory setting is something you can do yourself at home, if you know that is the problem you are having--I didn't know that so I ended up paying for it. However, if you hold on to your instruction manual, it should give you instructions for adjusting the level of the mixer bowl so that the beater can rotate freely.
