My 36" LCD tv picture would go out after 1 hour of watching. If you shut ot off and turn it back on it would stay on for another hour. This TV was 13 months old and the warrenty has expired.

I called the local large appliance store to come and look at my 36" LCD TV, because it was not working - The repair man came in took the back off and said hum - it could be a bad connection. He went out in his truck brought back some plugs and wiring - He worked on the TV for about 30 minutes and the TV was fixed. He put the back on the TV and typed out a billed - $ 209.00 - NO ESTIMATE ON THE COST JUST A BILL..... It cost me 209.00 for some loose wires. I told the repair man this was to much, he said its what it is. I told him I could buy a TV for 400 dollars new, he then said with a sarcastic voice I just saved you 200 dollars so where is my tip?
Tips
If you decide to go with an appliance repair person, be sure you check them out before you invite them into your home to perform work. If you decide to use a repair person, make sure they have the proper licenses ? occupational and business. Ask for references as well.
