We paid to have our small dog (less than twenty pounds) spayed. We were told this included the surgery, one overnight stay and the cost of a follow up appointment in ten to fourteen days to remove the stitches. We picked up our dog the day after the surgery, she seemed a little out of it but basically okay.

We were pleased with the service we received, we thought it was expensive at first, but after checking around it was a comparable price. Our puppy was okay with no major problems or complications. Before we left the vet's office we were given a complete run down of everything to do and everything to look for. They were thorough and professional. They gave us instructions in writing which was very helpful. We went back for the follow up appointment two weeks later and that was just an in and out check up to have stitches removed and be sure everything was healing as it should.

We used this vet based on a referral from a friend and then checked the customer reviews on the internet. We also called several other local vets to compare price and service offerings. This choice worked out well for us.
