My husband got me a boxer for my birthday and I took her to be spayed. I wait until she was almost a year but the vet said he would of like to have done it when the puppy was younger but it was fine to do it at any age. It was $47 for everything including the pain medicine. She was fed and kept over night for her own good. She was able to be picked up that next morning and when I went to get her she was playing with the vet. The vet talked to me when I came and got her and told me how she handle everything.

I was really happy with the service that we got. I knew that my dog was in good hands but it is always nice to see that the vet cares about the animals that they deal with. It was nice when vet came and talked to me when I came and got my dog. He made me feel better about having to leave her and having her spayed.

You are able to find vets in your local phone book or online. If you have friend who has a dog ask them where they went or if they know of a good vet. A good thing to do is call as well. Some places are cheaper then others but then others offer more then some. Just make sure you check it out before you leave your pet at a vets office.
