the Cost of Temporary Retail Employees

Price per hour for temp employee. I own a small retail store. My busiest time of the year is Christmas. For the past years, my twin daughters helped out but they are freshman in college and won't be back in time to help out. I called a temp agency and they provided me with two wonderful girls. I had the most successful season in a long time.

When I realized I was going to need extra help, I dreaded writing an ad, paying to have it put in the paper, and then interviewing a medley of candidates. The temp agency asked my about twenty-five questions to find out exactly what I wanted and what I needed. I thought the hourly rate was a bit high, but considering how much time and effort I saved, it was worth the money.

Don't hesitate to spend the extra money that a temp charges over what you would pay outright if you hired someone directly. It's well worth it. I didn't think temp agencies provided retail employees, I think of them just providing office help. Although I didn't need it, I also know that if the people they don't send work out, you can replace them with other temps.
