Description of service
I was on a business trip that required my being away from home for almost two weeks. While in New Your City I had three suits cleaned at my hotel. They picked-up the suits from my room and returned them that evening. The cost was $70 for the service. It a included a tip for this service along with my room service tip when checking out.
Review of Service
The service was fine. I left the suits on a chair in the room when I left that morning. They were cleaned and hung in the closet when I returned that evening.
The items were pressed with no hard creases and they had even replaced a loose button. A note was left telling me of the "free" alteration. The service was very easy and the finished items were in perfect condition when returned.
Although a bit expensive, considering I was staying in downtown NYC it was a fair price to pay for this service.
Tips
Make arrangements to have any dry cleaning done ahead of time. Although last minute work can be arranged there is still a time factor involved. Plan in advance. Have the items ready for pickup before the schedule time.
If you have special instructions leave a note attached to the items.
