the Cost of Tuition at a Junior College

I enrolled in Accounting 282 at my local community college. Accounting 282 is a 3 credit hour course and can be attended in the classroom, internet or video. General in county tuition for this program is $65.00 per credit hour. There was also a lab every Friday. The lab material cost was $20.00

I attended accounting 282 at a large community college system. I needed to brush up on my accounting because of a new job assignment. The class covered "uses of accounting info". It was for formal accounting analysis. I was attracted to the service because of the freedom to attend online. There is also formal classroom session and you can view video on campus or over the internet. I used the internet option for the most part but did explore the other two options available as well. There was a lab once a week and the lab cost were a flat rate of $20.00 for the lab and some of the material. The course also had some suggest material to purchase. The class ran very smoothly and I was encouraged from the start as to the competency of the material and the instruction. The summer session for which I attended lasted 5 weeks. I would use this method again to learn a new subject or for refresher training.

Online programs are great for the freedom they give you. Look for a hybrid program like I took so that you can attend on campus or catch up with material by video. Most community colleges and several of the online company offer such a comprehensive offering.
