Description of service
The junior college I went to charged $57.42 for one semester hour. Most classes were three or four semester hours. There were other fees associated with enrollment. There were several majors, the two most popular majors were nursing and a fire academy. I only needed a few hours to complete the A.A. program that I had started many years ago. You can take one class or many. There is a lot of flexibility at a junior college and they know that most of their students are working people and people with small children and other responsibilities.
Review of Service
I felt I received a great value for the money. I talked with some friends from other states and their prices were hundreds of dollars a semester hour. No matter your financial situation, you can also apply for scholarship money - state and federal funds are available for junior colleges. this particular junior college also had a monthly payment plan - I don't think all schools have that.
Tips
Stay in school. Go back to school. Work with the financial office. They have a lot of resources that you may not even be aware of. Never be afraid of going back to school - you can learn at any age.
