Description of service
I took a 3 week long jewelry making class at a local craft store. We met once a week for 2 hours and the total for the 3 weeks was $175.
Review of Service
Every since my oldest son started school I've been looking for a part time flexible job that I could do from home. I'd heard some people had luck selling jewelry on the internet so I thought I'd take a jewelry making class and see if it was something I could do.
The class was great. Each class focused on a different type of jewelry making. The first class was working with beads, the second was working with silver and the last was working with ribbon and hemp. Each class was unique and very useful. The school provided most of the materials we needed to make a few things each week.
All most all of the instruction was hands on, which was great because it gave me a chance to practice. There were two instructors, one who was demonstrating and one who walked around and gave advice as we worked. Overall it was a great experience.
Tips
Make sure you find a class that is very hands on. There's only so much that you can learn from watching someone else work.
