the Price of Jewelry Making Classes

I took a Jewelry class that I saw advertised online. I paid 150 dollars for a 2 week class. Although the price seems reasonable, I felt that i did not learn much about Jewelry Design. Most of the class was based on doing bid necklaces and did not introduce us to more styles and aspect of Jewelry Design.

I was not satisfied with the service, although I admit that I was impressed with the price of the two week class.

This was something that I could have learned on my own (even online). Next time I will spend more time investigating and comparing courses before I pay. I wanted to learn how to work with metals and how to design more complex jewelry or at least be introduced to those techniques.

If someone wants to ake a jewelry class I suggest that he/she goes to a local community college firs. Sometimes this colleges offer personal development classes and continuing education classes that are taught by professionals and you will be getting more for your money. Also spend some time online doing search on the people who are offering this courses. and Do not pay for the entire course in advance unless you know that the school offering the course has some type of certification
