I got a full all over hair color. I was going to a much darker color than I started with. The color was $65 and I gave a $10 tip. The price also included a scalp massage.
Review of Service
The hair colorist was great! I had an idea of what color I wanted but when I told her she suggested going just a few shades lighter as she thought the color I wanted would clash with my skin tone. I don't know if she was right about that color clashing but the color we chose looked fabulous! I also got about a 10 minute scalp massage. She said it opened up the follicles to let the color in better. Again, I don't know if that was true but it felt fantastic! The color took quite awhile (I'm used to doing it at home in 20 minutes) but it was well worth it. She managed to get a lot of warm undertones. It looks natural and great.
Tips
Make sure you find someone who is willing to listen to what you have in mind but will also let you know if you are going astray. I always make sure I like the hair of anyone who's doing my hair. That way it's more likely we have the same taste and they'll get what I'm looking for.
