Description of service
Sooner or later every woman must decide if she is going to color her hair or let the gray take over. If you decide to color, you may be shocked at the prices some salons charge. However, it is worth it to have your hair colored at the salon rather than buying a box of hair color at the grocery store. The grocery store price of under $10 a box is very attractive. But the results of a do it yourself job can vary. If you are lucky it will cover the gray and your hair won't turn orange. If you don't want to risk it, then you should go to a professional.
Review of Service
I have had my medium length hair colored many places and have paid way too much. Then I started going to a discount hair chain. I expected these chains would hire people right out of hair dressing school. To my surprise the women in the chain I go to are mature and experienced. I wash my hair the day before because it is best to apply the color to dry hair. I was prompt for my appointment and they took me right away. The color was applied and rinsed out. Then I had a trim and a blow dry. I was done in less than an hour.
Tips
Discuss the color you'd like with your stylist in advance. She can suggest the shade that will best match your skin tone. If you are interested in just a few highlighted strands they will often add them for a few additional dollars.
