Description of service
I had my hair professionally dyed from light brown to red. The colorist was very professional and listened to what I was looking for. She took a sample of my hair and looked at it under a high powered light to see what red hue would match my complexion best. I was thinking that a darker red would be a nice color. It turned out from her studying my hair that a lighter shade would be more complimentary. I am glad I listened to her. I asked a lot of questions and the stylist was very patient and explained different options to me without rushing.
Review of Service
It took a little over an hour to color my hair. I think the price is reasonable, but I do wish that dying your hair did not cost so much. The colorist quoted me a price of 20 dollars to do touch up of the roots, which sounds like a very fair price to me. The color had a lot of different shades of red in it so it looks natural.
Tips
The price I listed is for a level 2 all over coloring. If you want a change in your hair color, sticking closer to your current hair shade is less costly, for these are usually level 1 hair dye and are priced less. Many salons will do for a low cost or free a consultation for a complete dye job, which if your not sure what color to choose you will have time to think about it before you pay for a permanent treatment.
