Description of service
It was for a "semi permanent" dye job at a salon to cover graying hair to match the not so gray hair.
It's a full-service salon, so they offer a variety of services with prices
Review of Service
My wife dyes her hair regularly. She's naturally blond, but has decided she looks better as a medium brunette. She calls it her "artificial intelligence." Once she had some color left over so she asked if she could do my hair.
The result wasn't bad. The color was a bit lighter than my normal hair color so I had subtle streaks in my hair, but as the weeks passed I noticed it wasn't washing out. Nobody at work commented until my roots started to show. One of the personal assistants dragged me to her salon over lunch to get them "touched up" for a sales meeting in the afternoon. Things happened fast, and cost less than I'd expected it to. But I got an earful from my wife about how she would have been happy to touch up my roots if I'd just let her know.
I wish the weather would get hotter faster so I could shave my head without it seeming like I was just saying I hated the effort my wife and the PA had put into my hair.
Tips
Don't try dying your hair with permanent dye if you don't know if you like the color. And if you're a guy and you can't stand gray hair, learn to live with it. Gray hair rarely looks bad on a guy.
