Description of service
Last year I had to hire an attorney to take care of my speeding ticket. It was for about 15 miles over the speeding limit, and I obviously did not want this on my record. Especially since my state has the right to revoke your license if you go 15 miles over.
Also, I want to point out that the $350 I paid included the attorney fee AND the court costs. So this really wasn't a bad price.
Review of Service
I was very pleased with the work of my attorney. I was worried about getting points on my driving record, but my attorney prevented that. Instead, he got me an improper equipment. This counts as a non-moving violations; hence no points onto my license!
The only unfortunate part about my service from this attorney was the lack of communication. He was always having my case pushed back and not telling me. In fact, I hired him in March, and he didn't clear up the ticket until August!! I felt like this was a small price to pay considering my insurance won't be going up now.
Tips
I would just recommend being referred to a good attorney. If you are in the same position as I and have recently gotten a speeding ticket, it will be well worth it in the long term to simply pay an attorney.
